Last Sunday (October 16th), I performed accapella vocal duets with my dear friend Judith Berkson. Judith is a fabulous musician with a unique musical concept and a great vocalist to boot. We performed in the Dowtown Music Gallery store on Bowery and 3rd. All pieces were free improvisations. Some were based on poetry and some not. We used the text from Dr. Suess’ “Oh, The Places You’ll Go” for one of the pieces. It was a fun 45 minutes and I hope that we get to do it again sometime soon.
Oh, then after the show we went to Joe Shanghai’s in Chinatown and had their amazing soup dumplings, yummy…..
