I am sooooo excited! I just got a phone call the other night giving me the ok on a proposed music series that Jacob Sacks (pianist extrordinaire) and I would like to have at the 5C Cafe in the east village. This series is called The Restless Spirit Series, and on the first Friday of every month Jacob and I will perform with a different guest artist. The series will begin on April 1st and I’m excited to say that I have just confirmed our first guest which will be the creative improvising pianist, Angelica Sanchez (she will probably be playing wurlitzer).
I’m totally stoked!!! Can’t wait to play with Angie. We haven’t confirmed any other guests yet, but keep on checking in to find out more.
